On Friday 4th October staff enjoyed professional development delivered by Mark Burns, who has a proven track record in improving teaching and learning in education. He is also the author of two books, including the well-known ‘Teaching Backwards’ which encourages teachers to consider the end goal in their planning.
Staff were inspired throughout the day, able to reflect on their own practice but also came away empowered with a wealth of practical teaching strategies to implement.
Every staff member committed to their own personal action plan with one key priority to develop over the coming months. An excellent day!
