We are very pleased to welcome students back to school this week, following the Easter break. In recent months you will be aware of our focus to create good learning habits and to develop excellent professional standards as we know that this will prepare students well for future employment and to lead successful and happy lives.
On the first day back, uniform and equipment checks took place, reinforcing our commitment to smart appearance and the development of personal responsibility as the onus is on students to have the stationery needed to support learning in the classroom. We continue to enforce our mobile phone policy, phones should not be seen or heard in school. Many students have thanked us for this as they encounter less incidents related to mobile phone usage. Lastly, we recognise that attendance and punctuality is key, with a direct correlation between hours in school and attainment. Students should be in school every day at 08.30am.
We thank you for your support, working together we can ensure our high standards are met and become routine.
