Netball Club

The Netball Club has experienced a fantastic surge in popularity this season, now with 45 active members. To accommodate the growing interest, training sessions were expanded across three days each week. Key Stage 3 players trained on Mondays, led by captains Nicole Dragomir, Keisha Mabhena, Arryanna Dima, and Maja Bajer. Key Stage 4 sessions took place on Tuesdays, guided by captains Connie-Grace Walton, Emily Evans, and Estephany Figueira. On Wednesdays, we held an in-house tournament to prepare for upcoming fixtures, adding an exciting competitive edge to our training.

This season’s training sessions have been focused and purposeful, preparing the team for fixtures against other schools. Although we didn’t come away with any wins, the progress made has been truly inspiring. The girls have shown tremendous development not just in their skills, but also in their attitude, resilience, and sportsmanship. Their commitment to training, teamwork, and personal growth has been outstanding. With every match, they’ve gained confidence and experience, and with continued hard work and determination, we’re excited to work towards joining a netball league next season.

The netball season has now come to an end and will return in September. As we wrap up, we’re also saying goodbye to our incredible Year 10 leaders. We’d like to extend a heartfelt thank you for their unwavering support throughout the season. They’ve been exceptional role models, consistently encouraging, actively involved in training, and always ready to step in, even as referees when needed. Their dedication and leadership have left a lasting impact on the team, and they will be truly missed.
