At Bournville School, excellent attendance is one of our top priorities. We are keen to encourage all pupils to take advantage of every teaching and learning opportunity available to them at the school and in order for that to happen it is important they are in school.
To continue to promote and reward outstanding attendance, we are running a couple of incentives. On Fridays, those with 100% attendance are being rewarded with hot chocolates, a treat in recognition of their dedication. In addition to this our ‘Be In to Win’ campaign will see students who are in school for the rest of the school term, entered into a prize draw with a chance to win a £50.00 voucher. There will be a winner in each year group.
We have further incentives and rewards planned for the remainder of the academic year. However, it is what takes place in classrooms every day, 5 lessons a day that is the important reason for being in school. There is evidence that links attendance with academic success and we want that for all of our students! We appreciate your continuing support in helping your child achieve excellent attendance.
